I grew up in New York City and was fortunate to have been able to ride and photograph Third Avenue Railway streetcars in the 1940's and early 1950's (called Third Avenue Transit by that time). As an expert in the field, Dr. IF you are a first time Furst reader, you'll probably find the book lacking in substance.
