This is the definitive study of his leadership, and as such an absolutely essential book on the civil rights movement.. in over 25 years!Update (11-25-2011): It's now been nearly three months since I went wheat-free, and I've lost 16 lbs., which is about 1.2 pounds per week. I missed Carrington. For such students I recommend the book unequivocally. Sometimes you don't have time to read all 1400 pages in a 6 week class.
